Gearing up for Hope '08
Hope '08 is about transforming lives and community. A national initiative, it's being organised across many of the Christian churches. Hope'08 is about serving and communicating with the 58 million people of the United Kingdom and specifically for us with those in North Leeds.
Hope '08 is about facilitating intensified, united, focused prayer and a year of activities, communicating the Gospel through words and actions, creating a lasting legacy of both physical and spiritual change in the lives of communities and individuals. What is Hope 08?
Hope08 is a national vision to inspire and encourage Christians to take part in mission throughout 2008. Hope 08’s vision is to see the “whole church going into the whole nation, for a whole year!!!”
In Leeds for one year we are calling the whole Church - younger and older to serve our communities powerfully and effectively in unity.
Using Mission Centres + a Mission Hub
All over Leeds, churches are getting together to become Mission Centres that are planning and praying for a move of God’s spirit during Hope 08.
Mission Centres are encouraged and motivated by having young Christians, like you, who are willing to work alongside them, touching hearts and changing lives…...excitement is growing!
What is ‘ The Hub’?
The Hub will be a fun and faith-filled, five day residential for young people aged 14-21 years. Young people putting their faith into action, being equipped, discipled, fed, watered and sent out.
Teams from the Hub will travel daily to Mission Centres to show God’s love in words and action.

Tuesday 29th July - Saturday 2nd August 2008 @ Harehills Baptist Church and St Augustines Church
Who is the Hub for?
The Hub is for anyone aged 14-21 (in Aug 08) who wants to serve God this summer. You, your friends and your youth leaders.

What does the £65 include?
An all-inclusive package; five inspiring and memorable days including teaching, entertainment, delicious food, basic accommodation.
